Its a good thing that Most people will wait 2nd or 3rd Gen. Especially if it offers better hardware. For example. AMD 6000 series will have RDNA 2 APU. Since its an OCTA core processor. It’s a much better processor than the Steam Deck. Which uses the old quad core with RDNA 2 APU.

Yes. Smartphone is the best gaming gadget to carry around. I already have 2 of them. But I get really bored with smartphone games. Especially if you use the display as controls.

If you have something better like the AYANEO Pro, ONEXPLAYER 1S, or GPD Win 3, it probably cost double the price. You might better off with one of those. According to The Verge, Steam Deck is one, big, buggy mess. A steaming pile of crap of glitches.

As in most gadgets, most people are better off waiting for Generation 2 or 3. Usually growing pains with every Gen 1 product and folks pay the most for them only to act like guinea pig beta testers. I’m good with my Flip 3 and playing MAME ROMs all day.

I see the AYN Odin Pro go for under $300 but no thanks to Snapdragon 845. Can’t play GameCube as well as Snapdragon 888. I have a PS Vita with $600 worth of games on it. Don’t really play it. The best gaming gadget should be the one you carry with you: your smartphone.
